Newton Construction undertook a vital project in collaboration with Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. This project focuses on the enhancement of the Adult Barium Facilities on the B Floor within the Queens Medical Centre. The primary objective was to upgrade the existing facilities to accommodate advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technology. MRI is a non-invasive and radiation-free imaging technique that provides detailed views of living tissues, crucial for diagnostic purposes. Improve diagnostic capabilities by integrating advanced MRI technology. Objectives were to enhance patient experience through upgraded facilities and efficient design. Ensure safety and compliance with regulations, particularly in relation to X-ray protection. Optimise the workflow for medical staff through the reconfiguration of existing spaces.
